Today we installed a galvanized sheetmetal termite shield over the Stem Wall. Also the mud sill (a zinc-borate treated (EPA Registered Biocide) LSL) bolted to the stem wall atop the termite shield. There is a polyethylene foam gasket/seal in between the mud sill and the termite shield protecting the bottom of the plate from moisture. Tomorrow we begin laying down the floor joists ( 1-3/4" X 11-7/8" LVL) @ 24" O.C.
